The XEPU UV Crosslinker is an efficient, intelligent, and versatile ultraviolet instrument. The XEPU UV Crosslinker provides a uniform and intense source of ultraviolet (UV) light for such uses as DNA crosslinking, DNA nicking, rapid site mapping, testing RecA function, ultraviolet sterilization, elimination of PCR contamination, etc.

Installation of UV Crosslinkers

1. Unwrap all packages carefully and compare contents with the packing list, making sure all items arrived. If any part is missing, contact XEPU sales office. Inspect all components for damage that may have occurred while the unit was in transit.

2. The UV crosslinker should be installed in a lab with suitable room temperature and humidity, stable power supply, and no vibration.

3. Place the UV crosslinker on a clean, flat surface.

4. Avoid placing the UV crosslinker in a location exposed to direct sunlight or strong airflow.

5. Make sure the power cable of the UV crosslinker is firmly connected and the UV crosslinker is well grounded.

UV Crosslinker Safety Precautions

1. Always pay attention to personal protection. Use protective measures such as gloves and masks, especially when working in hazardous environments which have toxic gases or harmful chemicals.

2. Always protect your skin and eyes from UV radiation. Wear gloves and masks during experiment. All XEPU UV crosslinkers are equipped with UV-blocking windows. In addition, the UV radiation will stop if the door is accidentally opened during exposure, protecting the operator from accidental UV exposure.

UV Crosslinker Operation

1. Before using the UV crosslinker, please read the instruction manual carefully.

2. Before putting samples into the UV crosslinker, make sure the exposure chamber is clean to prevent contamination of samples.

3. Follow the instruction manual to choose the operation mode (Time, Energy, or Preset) and set appropriate UV energy or irradiation time.

4. During the analysis process, data and results should be recorded in a timely manner to ensure accurate and reliable quality control.

UV Crosslinker Maintenance

1. After use, the UV exposure chamber should be cleaned and maintained in time. During maintenance, the power supply should be disconnected, and prolonged moisture or contact with corrosive items should be prohibited.

2. If you do not use the UV crosslinker for a long time, unplug the unit from the wall outlet. Place the UV crosslinker in a dry environment and avoid direct sunlight.

3. Regularly check the ultraviolet tubes and other components in the UV crosslinker to ensure stable operation.

4. Contact XEPU for professional maintenance services. Never dismantle or repair the UV crosslinker on your own.
